Parking & Accessibility
The Barn has ample free car parking, and is easily accessible from local churches, burial grounds and crematoriums in Sherborne, Yeovil and Dorchester.
Inside Space
Whatever the size of your reception or wake, we will always do our very best to help. We can seat up to 180 people comfortably (with standing room for many more) inside the barn. Tables and chairs are provided (please note table linen is not included, however we can recommend an excellent supplier should you need assistance with this).
Bar & Snug

Outside Space
The courtyard immediately to the front of the Barn provides the perfect outside space for guests to gather. It is filled with greenery and flowers in the spring and summer months and has several large tables and chairs. There is also a large grassed area to the side of the Barn with surrounded by mature trees. The surrounding views are beautiful, overlooking grass farmland and the setting is peaceful and tranquil.
Catering
When it comes to catering, we offer total flexibility. Whatever your catering preference, rest assured there are ample facilities with a spacious fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the Barn. You are very welcome to source your own caterers, or you might like to have a look at some of our recommended suppliers here.
Availability
We are available for receptions and wakes from the beginning of April to the end of October, closing November through to the end of March. Please note, for receptions in April or September/October, there may be a need for heating in the Barn which will incur a small additional fee.
