The Milking Parlour
Located just four miles south of historic and picturesque Sherborne, in the grounds of our marvellous wedding venue, we have a delightfully converted former milking parlour. This quaint little cottage retreat has a delightfully styled interior, with plenty of rural charm and outdoor space with parking.
The accommodation includes a sitting area with dresser and television, a kitchenette with fridge and microwave, a dining area with table and chairs, and a comfortable double bed. Heating is provided by a modern electric radiator. There is a shower room with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC and heated towel rail. Outside is a small gravel area with a table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy the fabulous countryside views.
In the summer, open up the door and let the sunshine in, as you sit and enjoy the peace and quiet with your loved one in this wonderful setting.
If you are booking your wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn, you might like to consider booking The Milking Parlour as a ‘Bride’s Room’. It’s the perfect space for your Bridal party to prep, or simply to use if you need to take a breath during your special day.
