A booking is deemed to be provisional until the required deposit is received. Stockbridge Farm Barn will accept a provisional booking but should another client subsequently wish to book and confirm the same venue on the same date before the deposit is received no guarantee about availability can be made.
A non-returnable deposit of 50% of the charge is required at the time of confirmation.
Fees are determined on the basis of the use of the venue or its grounds for a set period of time. Stockbridge Farm Barn reserves the right to make an additional charge should there be any variation of an agreed time. Such variations will be agreed with the client at the time of booking.
Cancellation of Booking
In the event of a confirmed booking being cancelled the full deposit paid will be retained by Stockbridge Farm Barn.
Any damage to the venue, its contents or its grounds that result from misuse or negligence by the client or guests will be deemed the responsibility of the client/s and will be charged for by Stockbridge Farm Barn on behalf of the venue owner.
The Final Invoice will be issued after the calculation of the total charge is made. This invoice will be payable within 14 days of issue. Late payment will incur an interest charge on all outstanding amounts of 2.5% above Coutts & Co’s lending rate currently in force.
In the unlikely event of a closure by DEFRA, or of a function being cancelled for any reason beyond Stockbridge Farm Barn’s Control, Stockbridge Farm Barn will use its best endeavours to locate a similar alternative venue. Should this not be possible any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
Acceptance of Conditions
The payment of the initial deposit is deemed as acceptance of the above conditions.
